Our experienced and dedicated MEC educators are committed to our mission and student success. They are passionate about teaching and are always looking for new and innovative ways to help students learn. While MEC provides the curriculum, many of our MEC educators bring in a wealth of knowledge in their specific fields. We encourage our MEC educators to enrich this curriculum with their own expertise and experience when and where possible. We strive to fill our courses with educators who are not just passionate about their content, but about make learning fun and engaging. All MEC educators are vetted and put through an extensive background check. MEC educators receive ongoing professional development through MEC so they are up to speed on the most current and innovative technology and instructional methods. 

Our after-school enrichment programs run from 3p-6p M-Th. Specific courses are offered on either M/W or T/Th during the course session. Each course is 1.5 hours. Some families choose to enroll for all 3 hours in the day (two separate courses) while some choose to enroll in either the 3p-4:30p or 4:30-6p time slot. Some families enroll for either M/W or T/Th while some enroll for the entire week. We have found that this structure meets one of our intended goals of giving families more choices.  All courses run for 8 weeks at a time. 

Each 6-week course consists of 18 instructional hours (3 hours a week for 6 weeks). Our courses vary in cost slightly, depending on how resource-intensive each course may be. When you visit the individual course detail pages, you will be able to see the full breakdown for each course. We offer scholarships on a case-by-case basis. We also offer discounts for families with multiple students enrolled and families who enroll in multiple courses at the start of each term. Finally, we offer a discount to current educators, military, veterans, and first responders.
