Pathways to Leadership Sample Course Outline

 Week 1: What Makes a Great Leader?

  • Objective: Understand the qualities of effective leadership and explore your own leadership style.
  • Highlights:
    • Discuss examples of inspiring leaders from history and everyday life.
    • Identify personal strengths and areas for growth as a leader.
    • Fun Activity: Create a "Leadership Vision Board" to showcase your goals and values.


Week 2: Teamwork Makes the Dream Work

  • Objective: Learn the importance of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Highlights:
    • Explore strategies for building trust and cooperation in groups.
    • Practice active listening and giving constructive feedback.
    • Fun Activity: Complete a team-building challenge.s.


Week 3: Communication: The Key to Leadership

  • Objective: Develop strong communication skills for effective leadership.
  • Highlights:
    • Practice public speaking, clear messaging, and persuasive techniques.
    • Learn how to adapt communication styles for different situations.
    • Fun Activity: Participate in a role-playing exercise to lead a group through a simulated challenge.


Week 4: Problem-Solving and Decision-Making
